Setting up a Global Spare

Select “View and Edit SCSI Drives.”

Arrow down and select Drive 10. Hit Enter.
Select “Set Global Spare.”
Hit Enter.
Select Yes.
Hit Enter.

You should now have a 9 drive RAID 5 with 1 Global spare properly Lun Mapped to Host Channel A.

If you should need to do additional configurations, i.e. mapping more LUNS, spanning channels, etc… Please contact TAG tech support at 1-877-TAG-TECH.
